Improving Housing Outcomes for Indigenous Youth Transitioning Out of Child Wellbeing and Child Welfare to Independent Living

ANCFSAO is honoured to release the Maa-Daa-Qun-Naag: Eternal Flame Project Report: Improving Housing Outcomes for Indigenous Youth Transitioning Out of Child Wellbeing and Child Welfare.

The purpose of the study was to identify the barriers faced by First Nations, Metis, and Inuit youth transitioning out of care and to examine the practices used by Indigenous Child and Family Wellbeing Agencies and other communication stakeholders in Ontario.  The findings will be used to inform the development of best practices and address existing policy gaps in supporting youth.
